In an isolated mansion, a famous author disappears under mysterious circumstances after completing his latest manuscript. Someone leaves a number of cryptic clues behind. The protagonist, who is an aspiring detective, undertakes to decrypt these clues and find the missing author. When they concentrate on the hidden words in the manuscript sign after sign is revealed and dattern afterwards uncovered: a hidden truth. A terrible secret combining the author's disappearance with an old crime long since erased from memory. As time clocks down, the protagonist must crack the cryptic clue and unveil the truth before it's too late.
