Samuel Miller, a young adult who has been passed around from family to family in foster care before landing at a boy's orphanage is now a Junior at Redwood University in Northern California. As someone who has struggled with severe mental health problems, such as depression, his whole life, he has constantly isolated himself. A few weeks into the fall semester in his Behavioral Psychology class, he meets Peter, a player on the University's rugby team, who is very talkative and extraverted, and whom Samuel thought was good-looking. Through group projects in and out of class, Samuel slowly learns to start opening up to people. This story will probs be a slow burn. It also deals with a lot of depressive/Depression (haha see what I did there) topics, so if you are sensitive, please be mindful and do not read if you are not ready/cannot handle such topics.
