The Protection was the forcefield holding the small town of Korma together. However, one small clearance is all it takes to bring anarchy upon the civilization which thrived for thousands of years. It was named the Day of Despair, and was the darkest time in human history.

One child turned fifteen that day. One child with a mystery held back from most, including his own mother. His true identity threatened all, gunners, brawlers, assassins, protectors and humans alike. The only person who knew his secret was his father, who went missing five days before the Day of Despair.

Who will save Korma from its fate? No one is even powerful enough to stand in front of them for a handful of seconds, so will Korma ever be at peace? Would anyone even be able to stand tall enough to phase them?

My name is Kokichi. Kokichi Ouma. Student from the Mizanaki High School. I'm 16 but I'm by far the shortest boy in my class. And the weakest too. I guess that explains why I'm always their favorite victim... Kaito Momota and Gonta Gokuhara... I hate them. Every day, they ask me to bring them money. Every day, they ask for even more. Every day, they destroy my bag and hurt me if I dare not have what they asked. They've been racketeering me for so much time I don't even have any of my pocket money left to give them. I have to steal from my parents and to lie to them in order to get what they want and not to get any more bruises than I already have. At home, it's hard to hide my bruises and my injuries, especially to my mom. But I somehow manage with my purple locks. As for healing my injuries, I know how to deal with it. I may have become as good in this than Mikan Tsumiki, the Ultimate Nurse. Then I rewrite my homeworks if they have been destroyed once again by Momota. ... I wish I had a guardian angel... Someone who would protect me from Momota... who would protect me behind the scenes... When I said that prayer out loud, I had no idea... that someone heard me. And that that someone would make my wish come true the worst way possible... Changing my life into a living hell... A nightmare even worse... At that moment, I asked for a guardian angel... But what I received was none other than a demon... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning !! This story contains dark themes such as harassing, stalking, kidnapping, paranoïd (a bunch of nice things in other words XD).

In a world where the line between right and wrong is almost impossible to see, a secret government program assigns assassins known as "the Blades." Each Blade is assigned a target, called a "Point," and they have exactly three days to eliminate them. If they fail, the consequences are brutal. Tasked with eliminating their target within a perilous three-day window, the Blades face the dire consequence of failure: either the Point is given the ultimate right to revenge, or the ruthless government steps in to execute the assassin for non-completion. With a thrill-inducing countdown ticking away, every mission becomes a high-stakes battle where only one person can survive. But not everything is as clear-cut as it seems. Some Blades start to question their orders. As the oppressive pressure mounts, ethical dilemmas and surprising connections unfold, forcing assassins to confront their own humanity. Loyalties fracture, secrets unravel. As the clock counts down, the Blades face impossible decisions. Should they blindly follow orders, or risk their own lives to do what's right? In a system designed to break them, they'll have to figure out where they stand before time runs out. In "The Fatal Assignment," A twisted game where survival is the only prize. Chosen from the forgotten corners of society - the desperate, the skilled, the expendable - they were given a target, a weapon, and a countdown clock. Failure meant death. Simple, brutal, and terrifyingly effective.
