Based on the YouTube series by MasakoX "What if Bardock Convinced the Saiyans" a What-If storyline where, as stated, Bardock, the Father of Goku, was able to convince the Saiyan race that Frieza was out to get them, and managed to create a new civilization in the face of Planet Vegeta's destruction.
