Thinking because she was on the cheer team, student body, and dating the most popular guy in the school, people would accept her the way she is. But that only happens in fairy tales

Instead, her life has been filled with constant taunting, harassment, isolation and sorrow.

Just when she feels as if she should give up, she meets a group of outcasts- a school slut, an in closet gay prodigy, a psycho goth who can't make up her mind, and a gorgeous straight boy who holds a dark past.

The more she befriends these people, the more she feels as if this happiness won't last. But she still feels a growing hope that she can be herself again.
