Will Solace has been nominated by his siblings to be in charge of the Annual Spring Cabin Cleaning. Apparently, "being in charge" actually means "doing it on his own". Unable to dump the responsibility on someone else, Will turns to his crush for help. Not only will he finish the job quicker, but Will will also get to spend some time alone with Nico diAngelo. And before long, Jason and Annabeth decide to play matchmaker.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the characters mentioned in this story. All character creds belong to Rick Riordan. Rated PG for now, but who knows where I'll go with this. Mild swearing and brief mentions of intimacy. Might get fluffy. Just another one of those I-found-something-you-didn't-want-me-to-see fics.

The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. He may even had hooked up with someone who, in a million years, he would never hook up with. Especially when it risked revealing his sexuality he had been repressing for years. Although, he doesn't entirely remember it, and neither does Nico di Angelo-the annoying know-it-all who always seemed to be more focused on studying than partying. In fact, he didn't even want to go to the party, he was dragged to the place by his step-sister, and he's never been more annoyed by a jock than he has with Will. Plus, he's in love with the hopelessly beautiful Percy Jackson. The two would definitely prefer to go their separate ways-except for the fact that they both ended up at the same summer internship fighting for the same position.
