Ariana Moore always had wings since she was a young girl. What she did not know was what the world thought of them. Freak. Mutant. The person a parent would warn their children to stay away from, as if they carried a disease. When the government found out that her parents had been harboring a mutant, her parents were immediately shunned in society. Her father, being an government official swiftly decided to give her to the government for experimenting purposes, in a hopeless attempt to gain back his respect he once had among other people. Right before they gave her away, she slipped into the outside and flew far away, helping people who were like her, people who were mutants. She was sure she wasn't followed wherever she flew but one day she tipped off SHIELD. They've been hunting her, like she was some wanted murder. Everyday since then she had been evading them, flying just 2 flaps ahead of them. She's been flying ever since. WARNING: potty mouth language

Steve Rogers may have been held captive in ice for seventy years, but Hydra wasn't. They were busy. Hundreds of failed attempts at creating the next generation of super soldiers. Not a single one survived. Sixty years' of science and they were going to pull the plug. Until it clicked. All it took were his genes. ***** She didn't have a name, and she didn't have a home. She wasn't born. She wasn't raised. She was developed. Her man-made womb. Her incubator. Her cell. For the first eight years of her life, it's all she knew. They showed her what life was like for those who were born, those who had parents, those in the real world. They showed her so she could understand how they lived, how they went to school, how they worked, how they talked, how they walked, how they were. They showed her how to emulate them, how to deceive them, how to read them, and how to kill them. By the time she was eight, she had killed a few hundred people in her training. They gave her the skills. So she used them to escape. ***** OC played by Avery Phillips Trigger warnings may apply to some chapters.
