It took me nearly a semester to ask my classmate - who I sat directly next to in the back of a lecture hall every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday - if she'd like to go on a date with me.
We were even in the same study group and sharing fanfiction with each other before the date-asking happened. Oy vey.
