ANNOUNCEMENTS
- New tasks were added to the sheet! Since I am going on break on Wednesday, these are the tasks for the entire week, and there will be no tasks on Thursday. Use your common sense - “Respond in Debate” is not a task that can be done until the new debate is posted on Wednesday.
- Keep telling your friends about the Triple G Ranch Awards - this is the last full week to enter, so round up those procrastinators before they forget! The nomination/entry fest is happening all week, so if someone enters or nominates a book, they automatically win the prize.
- Graphics committee applications are due on Saturday! Please go to Neri with any questions.
- I am leaving for break on Wednesday. I will only be reachable through Discord, but I will be super busy, so please go to Rose or your committee leaders if you need something. Rose and Neri will be leading this week’s judging boot camp.

- Soft strikes have officially become a thing, so make sure you understand your committee responsibilities
- PSA! Make sure you’re reading and understanding instructions. This isn’t just for newbies; we have people who have been here for more than six months who still aren’t taking the time to understand instructions.
- Triple G Ranch entries are due at the end of the month! Last year, we had over 50 entries, and we’re still just shy of 30. A lot of people seem to be procrastinating, so be sure to let them know the deadline is coming up! Also, if you know someone who has already entered, let them know they can enter a max of two books PER CATEGORY. A lot of people entered multiple books last year, and I’m not seeing a whole lot of that this year.
- This week is the last call for bead design contest entries! We’re really happy with the turnout so far. Let’s keep the momentum going!
- Anvi has once again offered to train a newbie on the newsletter! If you’re interested in learning how to do it, now is your chance! Everyone else, let’s please keep this task available for a new senator (:

- There are editing and beta reading tasks on the sheet. Please make sure you understand the difference between the two before you sign up! Beta readers should not be fixing grammar or spelling (otherwise, the editors won’t have anything to do).
- Pie is here! This is how we see who’s done the most tasks, basically. Congrats to Duck for completing the most tasks in April. Everyone needs at least 3.3% of the pie to have hit that 3-task minimum (not including newbies, but thanks to everyone who took a stab at some tasks). The NIHL slice includes tasks that were never signed up for and tasks that people failed to complete.
