Stories are like fruits, and writers like farmers: planting ideas, experiences, emotions, dreams, and observations to grow the fruit of their thoughts. I do the opposite-I start with a fruit, let its branches wander, and trace their way back to the seed.

I am but a new farmer. The fruits of my thoughts may be bitter, sour, or bland to some-but you'll never know unless you take a bite.
