Ah yes, the most difficult part about filling out the profile: the personal disclosure.  Let's get to it, yes?



Hey, my name is Shawn.  My nick is from one of the first books I got to a third reading with a major publishing house and so has a bit of personal significance.  I've been writing since I was a teenager (damn, that long??) and love it.  My specialty is fantasy, but I've penned some sci-fi that often bends towards fantasy, and I love blending genres.



I've kicked around the world a bit, spending time in all kinds of places in Canada, the States and over in Europe.  And I've considered it all research, since the best place an author can draw their inspiration from is their experiences. 



I love reading almost as much as I love writing.  How can you write if you don't love to read?  I also love music and usually have something stirring in my headphones as I write.  And I enjoy movies, usually the typical action or fantasy/sci-fi kind, even if I DO think I could write better. lol



So, if you've dropped in to see what I'm about, thanks for visiting.  Hopefully I've made your visit to Wattpad that much more interesting.



A quick note: with the exception of the first three books in the 'Risen' series,  first four in the 'Sons of Ironstorm' series, 'Bloodsword', 'Hand Over Fist', and my anthologies, stories posted here aren't complete. Furthermore they are beta versions that are certainly not very polished, with plenty of mistakes. So don't hate my bad spelling and grammar too much.



Finally, I am no longer taking reading requests. I simply don't have the time. And do not advertise your stories in my story's comment section.  That's pretty uncool.  I delete them instantly and put you on ignore.
