I am a girl who is simple yet complex.
While I try to play happy and oblivious 
To the world that surrounds me,
I am fully aware of the many things I see. 
I always try to plaster on a smile,
Even if I feel like crying once in a while.
I try to make everyone else happy before I even consider myself,
Since I don't like to put myself on a shelf Higher than others.
I can't say that I feel like I'm useless,
Even though I can be quite clueless
In some of the simplest of events.
I can't describe many situations,
But I can attempt to tell you a joke to shorten your emotionally drained hibernation. 
I will try to make you forget about the wrongs inside of this cruel reality.
So I would like you to join me
On this adventure, this journey.
To say I'm simple is a lie,
And saying I'm normal is like catching a fly.
While sometimes it is within grasp,
It will always do something unexpected,
Something to change its path,
It's fate.
And I wish to be like that.
I wish to be unique,
And I wish to be different.
And one of the only things I want is to make an imprint
On this world, to show what I once was.
Even if it means it's just because
Of writing a poem like this one
To imprint my memory on mankind.
