I prefer to read and write original works of fiction, though I do enjoy my share of fanfiction. Fanfiction gets a bad rap, but it is a good way for new, aspiring writers to practice their writing skill in a template where the setting and characters are already laid out for you. All you need is to weave an interesting plot.

*I will not post original works (i.e., non-fanfiction) on Wattpad, as I am saving them for traditional publishing.

Wattpad is not only a means to feed my desire for reading, but also an opportunity to unleash my own imagination and share my writing with others. It will take much courage to share my work and, subsequently, a part of myself. There are times I will be fearful and feel discouraged, but my muse won't let me quit (you know who you are).
