I live on the South Coast of England having moved back from London where I spent much of my career. Much of my time currently is spent looking after my father who unfortunately has succumbed to Vascular Dementia.

I am both a writer and photographer, and I always say I am also a human. It is through the humanity I've encountered which feeds my art. With looking after my father the last couple of years I have found it hard to express myself though the written word, but I am making an effort to return to my writing and try and squeeze out some of the many thoughts and ideas I have inside me. I have been through both very dark times, as well as beautiful moments, and I no live a life empowered to bring some light to our existence.

For me there is no existence without books. The written word is the oxygen to our soul. It is what feeds us, allows us to dream and escape to worlds only our imagination can take us. I have always had a great love for reading and dreamed of a writing career, a dream that was to come true with my first published novel, The Accidental Malthusian.

My interests are varied. In the summer you will find me most of the time on the water, paddle boarding both on the sea and in rivers, or exercising by running or road cycling. I adore exploring the Dorset countryside through my passion for photography, as well as sending time with friends in deep long discussions over a glass of red, discussing the difficult questions of life, politics, science and philosophy.

Please don't be just an observer of my work. If you would like to share your thoughts on what I have written then please feel free to message me. I would only ask to keep this a positive space.
