Hey guys! 

My name is Carly. Some things about me...

Music is my life...I love Coldplay, The Script, The Fray...and many others. I play keyboard and auxiliary percussion instruments, piano, and ukulele...and I know...one chord? on a guitar, but I'd love to learn! I have loved writing for as long as I can remember...

I am an artist at heart - photography, drawing, painting, writing, music...I am an introvert, which means I like having time to myself, but it doesn't mean I'm not friendly. It means more that I don't love small talk and I don't love hanging out in big groups of people. One on one relationships are more of my forte. I don't trust just anyone, but once you are my friend, I am really loyal...yeah...just to describe my personality a bit. 

I play volleyball, hockey, and I sail. I LOVE Sailing, and I feel most at home near the ocean...something about it calms me...so the ocean plays a big part in many of my stories, as my stories are often inspired by places and activities I love, though characters and their situations are purely fictional. I'm a pretty brave person, but I also tend to be anxious (I get over myself and do scary stuff anyways), so most of my stories are actually characters I create living through some of the situations my own paranoia creates (for example, when I was sailing out of a harbor once, my partner and I were dangerously close to some rocks and I was imagining us hitting them and the boom coming over and knocking us into the water, which inspired me to write a story revolving around a sailing accident, so l created John, Kate, and 'The Sound.'

What else? I have two 80 lb golden retrievers (brothers, littermates) and I adore them...I love to travel...I like people who are easy-going and have good senses of humor. 

My sense of humor is very sarcastic...and I hate these 'A Little About Me' sections, because people are too complex to describe in a little paragraph. Yeah...so I'm struggling with it...I think I'm going to stop now...
