Proof of ownership for 'The Clockwork Sea': I'll be posting this story on Royalroad and Inkitt concurrently. 

I've finished my first book and I'm currently tangled in the hurdles of trying to figure out how to publish it (It's about British mechanical penguins and a super society). I'm posting this other story for now to get a readership for that finished book, the unfinished book series I've been working on for almost a decade, and for short stories I plan on submitting to various short story contests. 

 In the meantime my mind has been buzzing with these ideas. So many ideas! A story about time *without* time travel? Huh! Let's see it done. 

'The Clockwork Sea' is my attempt at building a world around a predestined set of physical laws. These laws not only alter what magics are used and what, but also technology, which would take advantage of time if it could be manipulated.
