I'm a mom and avid birdwatcher, with an imagination. I like to create all kinds of things. 

I was working on writing my first story after the characters came to me in a dream in late April 2025. I had about 25 chapters written but as I was reading other stories, it gave me the idea to rearrange several chapters so it got placed on the back burner. 

Meanwhile, more characters came to me in a dream in November 2025 and I had to write the story, because it seemed close enough to home, since the theme is something that a few of my friends are currently dealing with. The book is meant to be a quick read, heartfelt, uplifting and romantic, even though the main character is still processing the grief of losing her first husband. It's nearing completion, so I hope you will check out Second Wind and let me know your thoughts and offer some constructive feedback because I know I have a lot to learn.
