I'm a lover of reading, music, sports, and an avid birdwatcher, with an imagination. I like to create all kinds of things. 

The characters in Second Wind came to me in a dream in November 2025 and I had to write the story, because it seemed close enough to home, since the theme is something that a few of my friends were dealing with. The book is meant to be a quick read, heartfelt, uplifting and romantic, even though the main character is still processing the grief of losing her first husband. 

I completed Second Wind but loved the characters in that story so much I decided to write a second story, but this time, diving into the love life of one of the other characters, a twenty something young professional, trying to find a Fresh Start.
