Oh hey there, nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by!

Writing is how I make my living. When I'm not writing stories for cities, I jump into my imaginary 'story room' and write stories for humans. For you. Thank you for being you, and choosing to spend some time with me. And by 'me' I mean my characters, which are all in their own way an extension of me. Even the morally grey characters which are so fun to write about. Hopefully, in some way, you see a bit of yourself in them too: the good, the bad, and the interesting.

I'm a Canadian writer who enjoys writing about not-so-ordinary lives with a sprinkle of magic. My fiction has been shortlisted and awarded in a short story contest by Accenti Magazine, and my nonfiction has appeared in trade publications such as Y Magazine and the Canadian Institute of Planning Journal. While my professional work focuses on shaping the future of cities, my fiction is inspired by the stories hidden within their past.
