Why hello there.

My name is Marie - Australian-born Second Gen Chinese - who grew up all around the metropolis and the suburbs.

I'm a bit of this and that, putting my fingers in everything nowadays, but I've recently become obsessed with Doctor Who and Community, and still trying to fast track my way through it all. I grew up watching the usual paraphernalia of Charmed, Friends, and Supernatural, as well as a few others on the side such as Buffy and Angel of course. As much as I was an avid couch potato in the day, I've not completed any of the usual trends such as Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Sherlock (please don't judge me, adult life has hindered me from it all).

Writing has been a passion, one that I've not kept up with for the past few years unfortunately. I hope to get myself back into the swing of things, back in the good old days when I would stay up until five in the morning writing a chapter every night. I missed those days and hopefully (but maybe not to that extent) continue to do so again.

I have a certain taste for reading and writing. I loved strange and eccentric things - Alice in Wonderland was and still is my favourite read. I loved Anne Rice's novels. Fantasy, adventure, science fiction are my three genres (and fan fiction too).

This is just a snippet of who I am. I hope I get to learn all about you as well.
