I love folklore, mythology, the macabre, obscure monsters, characters with dark secrets and troubled pasts, stories that tie things up with a neat bow at the end, breadcrumbs leading to twisty and surprising conclusions, and anything that makes me question whether "There are older and fouler things than Orcs in the deep places of the world."
