            "Pom-Pom" is a colloquial nickname that mostly refers to the QF 2-Pounder Naval autocannon used primarily by the Royal Navy and a few other actors as an anti-aircraft gun. 
            
            The "pom-pom" nickname comes from sailors describing: "it going 'pom-pom-pom-pom-pom' when you shoot it."
