Hello there! 

I know these bio things are overrated nowadays, but I still like to do them. 

My name is Katie, I'm 16, and a junior in high school. I really like to be involved in things. I play lots of sports: I've played soccer, volleyball, and softball, and have fun cross country and track. Currently I'm playing soccer, indoor in the winter, then outdoor in the spring; and next fall I plan to take up golf. I also am involved in lots of school clubs(boring i know, but it's me). I participate in the school's plays and musicals, and had the honor of playing Elizabeth in this fall's play, Pride and Prejudice. So I guess you could say I'm a bit of a theatre geek. I am also a percussionist in my school's band, and the alto section leader in my school's top choir. And somehow, I still manage to have time to take 2 AP classes. 

I love to travel, and last March I got to go to New York for a festival with my choir and perform in Carnegie Hall, which was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I've only been out of the United States twice, once in a cruise in 6th grade, and to Canada for a Quidditch tournament(yes, like Harry Potter) the summer before my sophomore year. 

I tend to stress a lot about a lot of things, most of which I really shouldn't stress about. I can thank my procrastination for the majority of this stress, but I have yet to change my ways.

I tend to obsess easily, mostly with books and bands, but TV shows and movies work their way in there too, mostly Disney.

I also have a weird obsession with dogs, which I guess is only weird to some. I cannot go past a dog without going up to ask if I can pet it. I also get personally offended if an animal doesn't like me, and will do everything I can to get them to like me.
