Greetings, Earthlings. I am The Martian, a wayward space traveller who crash-landed on this tiny blue planet and decided to cope with my exile by writing unnecessarily complex stories of a grand variety about characters who make even worse life decisions than I do. 

I specialise in alternate universes, slow-burn suffering, and characters who should really just take a nap but refuse to do so. I also somehow became fascinated with Earth's profession in screenwriting and filmmaking - for reasons beyond my simple Martian understanding, this industry is unnecessarily difficult! 

My current work is The Newsletter, a multi-book series spanning across several years of friendship between a group of aspiring filmmakers that whole deal with performativity, gaslighting, attention culture and all the existential things I've witnessed humanity deal with since the invention of TikTok and the influencer. It will not be an easy read, but it is - for the most part - a bit of an absurd comedy about an otherwise lovable yet insecure group of friends. If this interests you at all, I hope you find solace in the story ... or at least laughter and maybe a few tears. 

I accept bribes in the form of rambling comments, wild theories, and proof that at least one person is suffering along with me.
