My mother caught me using my sister's Chapstick on the back of the antique dresser in my bedroom. I don't know what I was writing, or if I was using letters yet, but I was certainly expressing myself, and continue to do so with varied media.
A couple of years ago, my husband asked me to write short stories. Each night, he gave me a list of a few items that he wanted in each story. One night, his list was: a trunk, an attic, your grandmother's grandmother's diary. That was the last list that he gave me because I am still writing that story; it is becoming an historical fiction novel. It is what I imagine my grandmother's grandmother might have written in her diary during her young adulthood. I describe it at my blog at http://WeaverGrace.com/2014/06/16/meet-my-main-character-blog-tour/
I am also writing a horror novel. You can read excerpts at my blog http://WeaverGrace.com
My first post here at Wattpad is one my blog's most popular articles: Bipolar Snowballs. Wattpad selected it for their Memoir Month Reading List :) and held its position at the top of the list for 3 weeks :)

People with bipolar disorder often hide the disease, afraid of being misunderstood.
I want to share a story...
