Hello everyone!
     My name is Rebekah, and I live in the United States with my husband and my ever growing bookshelves. I have been writing poetry, narratives, and short stories for a very long time. Literature and Language Arts have always been my two favorite subjects to learn in school. This hobby of mine truly developed and blossomed around the time I turned ten  years old. In the fifth grade I sat every day on a school bench and wrote my very first "book" called The Angel Locket. Shortly after the notebook project was finally finished, I began my sixth graded year and had an English teacher help me proof read and edit the book.I then took on the grueling challenge of typing up the entire story and printing out copies for my family as Christmas gifts. To say I was proud of my two year long efforts was an understatement. I was so proud, in fact, that I ended writing a sequel that same year and repeating the process for The Angel Locket 2 and a couple other short stories. 
      My bookshelves are currently over flowing with all of my favorite stories, as well as many, many others that I picked up at local thrift shops and book sales. I could easily sit here and type out  pages and pages about how much I love the magic of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, or Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series'. I could talk for hours about the classic importance of William Shakespeare's many works or how Edgar Allen Poe helped revolutionize the Gothic Horror genre and the modern Murder Mystery genre. Grimm's Fairy Tales also take a place in my most recent reads. It is because of all of these authors and their genius legacies that I myself am inspired to be a writer.
