Maybe have the Mc work on the original set of Sunnytime crew show. Maybe have her work as something involved with the makeup or costumes, her and Joseph (Jack’s Og name) form a friendship, and then more of a love. The day he was killed you could have them dating for a couple of years and he was planning to ask her to marry him. After his death, you could have the Mc reincarnated as how you are now and just take it from there?
