On May 1, 2004, I opened a local computer repair shop in Lake City, Florida. Over the next couple of years, I began to help some faraway friends with their computers through remote access. Realizing the many benefits of remote access computer services, I launched EarlsHelpDesk.com in the early part of 2008.

In 2011, in response to a subtle suggestion of a dear friend, I began to overcome severe addiction to tobacco cigarettes gradually. I also began to write my first book, "Maybe You Should Move Those Away From You."

I'm working very slowly on several additional titles now, including a book that includes my experience during the early morning hours of September 11, 2017 when I survived a tornado during Hurricane Irma that destroyed my home.
