As they say I hate writing, but I love having written. 

Cures for writer's block:

Draw a picture of the next scene. Then describe it in great detail.

Imagine the scene as if you are sitting in a movie theatre. Then describe it in great detail.

Read a book you really hate. Figure out what you would do better. Then write it down in great detail.

Read a book that you've never read before. Keep trying to guess what will happen. Write down your guesses in great detail.

Ask your wife, "What's new with your sister?". Write down the resulting monologue in great detail.

Summarize the scene giving you trouble in a couple sentences, then go on to the next. It probably wasn't going to be very good anyway :P
