ah, the meetings — i remember you saying you sit through them bored and unbothered.  does it just involve stocks and business?  (he questioned with a curious tilt of his head, even though pete had a clear understanding of what those meetings probably went like as a hand comes to rub the back of his neck.)  oh — (was the reaction to the other's comment regarding that; taking peter by surprise as a nervous laugh escaped him. yet pete never once judged harry or how he took care of himself — he'd support him whenever he could.)  me ? yeah! i was just done submitting these photos i took, but getting lunch with my best friend definitely sounds cool. got a place in mind? you pick. 

@SPDRWEBBED  yeah,  just trying to get out before my father sends me to some corporate meeting from hell as punishment.  [ harry makes an attempt at laughing it off,  but the sound comes out as more of a strained wheeze instead.  he clears his throat,  eyes falling towards his feet before bouncing back up to meet pete’s face again.  he gives a small jerk of a nod at the other’s comment even as it pulls a scoff from him. ]  yeah,  doesn’t he always?  oh,  he cares alright… just not about the things that matter.  [ the comment is surprisingly vulnerable from the playboy and he regrets saying it as soon as it leaves his mouth.  if there was one thing harry hated more than anything,  it was appearing weak.  especially in front of peter.  he blinks once and tries to find a way to shift the conversation off of himself and ease the tension that feels stifling. ]  you seemed to be in a hurry yourself.  where ya headin’ off to,  pete?  got any time to grab lunch with your best friend?  i’ll even let you pick. 

hey, as long as you're okay, harry.  you seemed quite in a hurry.  (peter's voice takes on more of a concerned and relieved tone, relieved to see his best friend safe & well, but he could sense there was something else bothering him.)  i'm sure your dad has got a lot going on — and i'm sure he cares all the same, even if he asks a lot of questions.  (he added, pete knew full well what mr. osborn was like - the constant questions regarding his son and his well-being.) he's that angry, huh? you better stay out of his way then, harry.
