Ed Decker is a recently retired Seattle area pastor, still very active, writing, teaching, preaching, going to hospitals to pray for the sick, working in the ministry to the seniors and the men of the church, involved in programs to feed and clothe the poor, counseling and encouraging the body of Christ.

Ed writes a weekly blog for a daily newspaper, dealing with the art of growing old gracefully. His humorous approach to the issues of aging has drawn many readers and coupled with his sound biblical position on life makes his observations timely and full of wisdom.

Ed is the author of over a dozen books, many selling in the hundreds of thousands, covering everything world religions to his latest novel, now in final form, Hotel Hope, a book that deals with the trials and tribulations of a group of homeless people who find light and freedom in restoring an old hotel.

Ed mixes his deep knowledge with an inner warmth of Christ’s love, an inner peace and joy that comes from knowing that he is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ shed on the Cross of Calvary. Having once been lost, his zeal for souls is the primary force behind his commitment and life’s work.
