I am both a history lover and a lover of romance, and I love combining the two. I find the progress of social attitudes fascinating, and how modern problems we face (such as low self-esteem, mental health issues, trying to find who you are, etc) look in the context of past eras.

Because of this, though romance is central to my stories, I also try to give the characters a full and rich historical backdrop, even if it's ugly at times. I'm also fascinated by other social relationships-- friends, family, and non-friends--and tend to write sort of 'ensemble casts' rather than two main characters and a few two-dimensional characters that exist around them.

This is why my stories can get long, but I promise that if the subject matter is your cup of tea, it gives a very rewarding result!
