hiii havent heard from you in a WHILE. I just wanted to check how youre doing¿¿  Anyways, I was just looking for stuff to reread and saw your story!! I really wanted to thank you for making these past years easier for me!! I wasnt doing pretty well and having a space were I got to escape from my problems was sooo helpfull. I hope you're doing well and at least give a a small update of your life(studying arts/education seems exciting!!!). Fun fact about me: I wanted to be a elementary school teacher but I wasnt allowed, so I entered dentistry school, which makes me happy. Thinking about my past self definitely brings a couple of bad memories but your book gave me the escape I needed  So basically this message is to thank you A LOT cause I remeber reading Venus at 3am thinking about the great writing and storyline lmao

has anyone seen the sunrise on the reaping teaser trailer yet?? PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS I'm sooo excited it looks amazing already, I love the 70s inspiration too it really grounds where in the timeline it happens compared to the other movies and its such cool worldbuilding. next November is so far away :')

so hi! it's been A WHILE
          
          I'm so sorry for one; not updating, and two; not replying to stuff on my message board/not updating when I said I would. Things have been kinda crazy this year.
          
          So if you care, my little personal update (and why I've been gone so long) is mainly just I'm coming towards the end of my degree (fine arts/visual arts and education hehe) and things have amped up. Plus I've had some minor health issues over the year that have really drained me when I do have free time (basically writing used to be a great outlet, but when I had bad health anxiety I needed to use my free time to basically distract myself and writing wasn't working). Since the start of the year when this was a big problem, I've since worked really hard to get myself in a better headspace and I've made really good progress and even got a lot of motivation back to write! Only problem was that the past semester I've been working on my Graduation Art Show artwork lol so that took up SO MUCH time.
          
          But it's all done now! Uni is done for the year and I have a LOT of free time.
          Which means updates are coming!! I'm not making promises of when exactly, but the next chapter (it's a CHUNKY one that I need to heavily edit and add to) will be out before the end of November, and the next updates will come pretty quick after that since they won't be as long (the Games don't cover much time so it will be shorter chapters cus of less content) 
          
          Anyway, I hope you are all doing well. If you've stuck around this long and read all of this, you're so sweet thankyou :')
          I'm hoping the quality of my writing (hopefully has improved?) and the next chapters will make up for at least some of the length of how long this hiatus was

hey! so i was cleaning my room earlier, wearing my earphones with my spotify on shuffle. then, unknown/nth by hozier started playing and suddenly, i was reminded of edith and finnick :') it was such a bittersweet moment omg. you can imagine me pausing mid-cleaning to sit and stare at nothing with my mouth agape, picturing edith singing this song on stage while finnick is on the dance floor, his glassy eyes only on her. and the pain hit me like a truck that i no longer had the energy to continue cleaning after the song ended LMAO
          
          just wanted to share this with you because i thought it's cute how your story has me on chokehold. it's also cute how i will always be reminded of them whenever i hear unknown *cries ugly tears
