Furthermore, he introduced the iKon bass boat, an advanced fishing vessel equipped with a comprehensive suite of automated control features, a state-of-the-art suspension seat system, and enhanced handling capabilities for sharp turns and turbulent waters.

His illustrious career in the marine sector commenced as the Chief Operating Officer at MasterCraft Boat Company in Knoxville, TN. There, he began his journey as a prominent Manufacturing Executive. He was instrumental in MasterCraft becoming the first marine plant to achieve ISO certification in manufacturing, safety, and environmental practices.

Committed to lifelong learning, Chittum has consistently applied his expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to improve operational efficiencies at MasterCraft and HCB Yachts. This has reduced product defects and increased profitability.

His educational path began after completing a six-year tour of duty in the United States Armed Forces. After that, he attended the University of Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. This field was chosen for his natural propensity for numbers. However, it unexpectedly steered his career towards being the COO of a thriving boat manufacturing company, assisting in its public offering in 2015.

He also pursued qualifications to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and delved into the cutting-edge principles of manufacturing, earning a Six Sigma Black Belt. This certification underscores his extensive project experience and proficiency in manufacturing, equipping him to optimize any company's operations thoroughly.
