I D E N T I F Y Y O U R S E L F
Matt here. Multimedia creative living in Boston with my wife and two sons. Like many of you, I have seen and done much, ridden some crests and wandered some valleys, and I'd like to share my tiny perspective in the universe through original self-expression, writing a series of novels backed by other media to make it happen. Why antebellum America emerged as the ideal backdrop is a long story, better told in the posts and prose, mostly from the voices of the characters within. Should you choose to support me, you'll be forever instilled in the guilt and glory of this reckless endeavor, and for that I will return every possible measure of gratitude in the form of honest, frequent, and entertaining content.
As I weave this tale of what wasn't, I'll do my best to calcify the spine of truth these stories grow from through obsessive research about the people, time, and places the narrative takes us.
Premise
An adventurous writer-artist duo conspires to share hidden stories about explosive cultural change and westward expansion in the decades leading up to the American Civil War.
THE REST OF IT (Possibly even more fun!)
Sharing the Journey
We all have a story to tell, and that fascinates me. What ideas, visions, sounds, or ways of living this life are in your mind that the rest of us might not ever experience? Creating things from scratch and discovering our individual motivations, perspectives and positions on the heavy happenings on this gargantuan spinning rock is HARD! The creator economy is HERE! So, with the uncertainty and abundant opportunity ahead for those of us who are willing to travel, sharing our journeys will undoubtedly be more fun. I look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories.
See y' out there on the trail, friend.
