With more than 35 years of robust experience in the construction industry, he has significantly contributed to the strategic growth and customer engagement initiatives at JH Kelly.

Born in Toronto, Canada, in 1966, he relocated to the United States in 1975 when his father took a new position in Seattle, Washington. This move ignited his passion for construction and engineering, and he has carved out a distinguished career. He also played hockey from a young age, a sport that instilled a lifelong appreciation for teamwork and discipline. He later pursued higher education at Seattle University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Humanities.

His professional journey commenced outside his field of passion as an auditor for a pension fund, where he fortuitously met his future wife. Though not directly linked to his engineering interests, this position paved the way for his eventual shift to the construction sector. He first applied his skills at Sverdrup Engineering as a project engineer, managing significant projects, including the expansion of Concourse D at SeaTac Airport.

Bob Harris's tenure at JH Kelly began in the role of Field Engineer. Over the years, his exceptional skill set and leadership qualities propelled him through various positions, eventually leading him to the role of Business Development Manager and then Director of Marketing and Business Development. His adeptness at navigating complex project demands and strategic planning led to his promotion to Vice President, overseeing marketing and business development efforts.
