Safwan Sobhan is the Founder and Chairman of Safwan Bashundhara Global. He is an entrepreneur and investor whose efforts have contributed to economic growth by creating jobs and fostering innovation. His leadership has earned him recognition, including the Ten Outstanding Young Persons (TOYP) of Bangladesh award, as well as other honors.

He was born in Bangladesh and spent part of his early years in the UK, where he attended Shiplake College in Oxfordshire, a school known for its focus on personal development and student care. In 2007, he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on International Business from American Intercontinental University.

As the founder of Safwan Bashundhara Global, he has led the company into new markets and product lines. He is known for his straightforward leadership style, which utilizes clear strategies to help the company achieve its goals while enhancing performance. He ensures that management teams understand the company's objectives, oversees financial outcomes and keeps the business aligned with its operating budgets.

Safwan Sobhan has also led the organization in undertaking social responsibility projects, including efforts to reduce tuition costs for meritorious students at Bashundhara Ad-Din Medical College and lowering delivery costs for pregnant women, thereby helping families gain access to affordable healthcare services.
