Luke's Point of View:
It's been two weeks.
Two long and painful weeks of Camilla ignoring me. At first I thought it was for the best that she ignored me because then it would stop me from wanting her so badly but I was wrong. If anything it just made me want her more. I could hardly keep my eyes off of her whenever she walked into a room I was in. She's just so captivating. There's a hunger to be around her and with her but I know I was an asshole to her and she probably wouldn't forgive me anyways.
That was just the first week. After a whole week of having no relations without unless work related, I was frustrated. I missed her. I missed her a lot. I tried to get her to talk to me but she just shook her head and walked away. She managed to avoid me for two whole weeks. I had finally had enough. I had to talk to her. I had to apologize for being a jerk to her and hoped she would forgive me. At this point I might be willing to beg for her attention.
As I drank my first cup of coffee for the day I fantasized about having Camilla here at my house with me. It was calming and gave me hope. I quickly rinsed out my cup and adjusted my suit. I grabbed my briefcase and walked out the door. My maid Henrietta was inside so I only shut the door behind me. My driver, Carlos, opened the car door and I slid into the plush leather seats. On the drive to my company I checked some of my emails and made a few calls.
"We're here," Carlos spoke.
I looked away from my food and rolled down the windows and found that we had in fact arrived. I was so absorbed in my phone that I didn't notice.
"Thank you Carlos," he nodded in reply "you're free for the rest of the day"
"Are you sure?" he asked surprised.
"I'm sure," he grinned and thanked me "just make sure I have a car to drive home later"
"Sure thing boss"
I turned away from him and walked up the steps and into the building. I nodded politely to acknowledge the persons I knew and went straight for the elevator. It was seven in the morning so most people weren't here yet, thankfully. Some of the secretaries in the building really piss me off with there constant flirting.
The elevator dinged and then opened on the top floor, my floor. I hurried to my office and immediately got to work. Around an hour later I decided to take a break. All throughout working I thought about Camilla and how I was going to approach her. I didn't want to come off as desperate or overbearing and accidentally scare her away.
I grabbed my tablet and logged on to the outside security cameras to check if Camilla was about to enter the building. Hailey was already here so I knew Camilla hadn't arrived yet because she would've told me. I tapped on the view from the right camera and there she was. As stunning as ever as she strutted into the building. I promptly set down the tablet and called Hailey into the room.
"What can I do for you dear?"
"Can you let Camilla know to come straight to my office when she gets up here"
She grinned like a Cheshire cat, "were you watching her through the cameras again?"
My cheeks reddened as I could feel myself blush a bright red. How on earth she knew that I checked the cameras is beyond me.
"How'd you know?" I pressed her as I stood and strode over to where she was.
"It was too much of a coincident that you always knew when she arrived," she smirked.
