Luke Williams' Point of View:
I pulled up to the driveway of my parents house and parked the car. My mother called me demanding that I paid her a visit today for whatever reason. She refused to tell me what this was about over the phone which made me even more confused and somewhat worried. Nate told me that she did the same thing to him which made me even more suspicious.
I shut off the engine and just sit there for a while just thinking. My thoughts drifted off to Camilla and our trip to Germany. We shared so much with each other and became closer because of it. I honestly can't imagine my life without her right now and I'm super scared because of it. I am already so attached to her and I'm terrified things will turn out like how it did with Alice even though I know that Camilla is so much better.
With a shake of the head I grabbed my phone and opened the car door. I stepped outside and shut the door behind me. Walking up the step to the door I could have sworn I saw the curtain from the front window move. Before I reached the last step the door burst open and Nate stepped outside shutting the door quietly behind him.
He had a relived look on his face, "thank God you finally decided to leave your car"
"You were watching me?" I accused him.
"I had to sit there and listen to mom talking about her latest adventure with aunt Talia," he rolled his eyes at me "normally I wouldn't mind but she's been giving me this stare all day and I can't stand it"
"What kind of look?" I asked curious to find out what my dear mother was up to.
"Its the I know something but I'm waiting for you to tell me look"
That's interesting. Mom did have expressive eyes and most times we could easily tell what she was thinking. She must have heard something which is why she summoned us but then again Nate tended to overreact when mom cornered him.
"Okay let's see what she wants," I sighed.
I opened the door and walked inside, Nate filing in after me. Nate walked in front of me and headed for the living room where I assumed he left mom. I spotted my mother as soon as I walked into the room. She was sitting on the couch and talking with my father. Her eyes lifting up to meet my own and a big smile stretched across her lips.
"Luke my sweet child," she rose to her feet and walked over to me.
She pulled me into a warm hug which I readily reciprocated, "Hi mom"
"You really do need to visit us more often," she pouted.
My father strolled over to me to give me a big hug as well. My family was big on on showing affection. Its been that way for as long as I could remember. Mom always said that we were a family and we should act that way.
"Its good to see you son," Dad said.
I sat in the chair opposite them and smiled, "its good to see you too dad"
"so mom we're both here," I gestured to Nate "what did you want to talk to us about?"
"Oh its nothing really," she mumbled as she brushed imaginary lint off of her dress "is there something you would like to tell your dear mother?"
I rolled my eyes at that. I shot a quick glance at Nate who was already looking at me with a 'I told you' expression on his face. He was right though, she clearly knows something but wants us to be the first to say it. But I honestly don't know what it is she wants me to confess to.
