Lisa had planned a simple wedding with the love of her life, at least what she considered him to be. Her wedding day finally came and she was nervous and anxious as most girls are at their wedding. It would be a new phase of life that she was going to enter with her life partner. Well, that's what she thought. Her dream wedding turned into her nightmare when she overhead her best friend crying to some men who got her pregnant. She didn't know if she would be happier, if she didn't hear the conversation and see the face of the men or remain clueless. She was more confused on whom she would be more angry with her best friend whom she considered her sister or the men she thought she was going to spend her life with. She was hurt but decided to wear the facade of being strong. She wasn't going to let them go; not so easily.
She stood on stage and publicly announced that the wedding was called off because of her jerk ex fiancé not being able to keep it in his pants and her whore of a friend who helped him. She exited the wedding venue as fast as she could to avoid unnecessary questions from the guests, who act sympathetically in front of you and call you bitch when you turn around. She wasn't going to entertain them.
Now, there was only one problem. Her honeymoon tickets, well the whole package. She had bought it with her own money, her overtime and bonuses. She wouldn't waste her hard earned money. She had bought first-class flight tickets to Paris, booked the most expensive suite of a five star hotel. What? She only wanted the best for her honeymoon. Honeymoon happens only once lifetime, trips happen throughout your life.
It didn't take her long to make up her mind; she was going to honeymoon, alone. She had no one to take with her, her parents were too sad to fly, her friends too busy with their husbands and kids. Moreover, visa issues, who was going to give them a visa last minute. She didn't have to make a lot of effort, her things were already packed. She just had to get out of that stupid wedding dress. She wasn't going to remove the make-up, it was expensive, a bit too much if you ask her. Her hair was braided with small stones set in between, no would notice. Moreover, she was going to wear a bucket hat.
She didn't waste a minute after getting ready, she rushed out of her apartment, quickly taking her luggage and her shoulder bag. She took the first cab that came in her vision, to the airport and paid whatever the driver demanded, she had no energy to waste on him. She already had a tiring day.
Now, all she had to do was follow the boarding procedures before sitting on the plane and wait for it to land in Paris. But her easy procedure was rudely halted by a broad shoulder owner asking the woman in the service counter to give him any ticket to Paris that was available. The woman kindly refused, saying it was out of their rule. That dim witted man couldn't understand that.
She had so many questions regarding him. Why did he urgently need to fly to Paris, or how did he manage visa? She didn't what came to her mind that she offered her extra ticket to him. He offered her money for the given ticket which she shamelessly took from him. He screamed luxury. She wouldn't be lying if she said he was a Greek God. She felt like he would look better in those white robes eating grapes. The man said thank you more times than she could count.
The man beside her made her forget about her disastrous wedding day, well broken. He told her it was urgent for him to go to Paris to forget about his ex. Coincidentally his ex also cheated on him and he found out today. And Paris was his getaway. Now, two broken hearts were flying to the city of love. What an irony!
That trip was her best trip of her life. She dined at every famous restaurant in Paris, kissed in front of Eiffel tower and most importantly found the love of her life, Oh Sehun, the stranger whom she sold her ex-fiancé's ticket to.
Now after 2 years, she was going on a honeymoon to Paris, this time with her husband, Sehun.
