Dress by Taylor Swift

Best-friends. That's what people labelled them. Jennie was sure as hell she never loathed anything as much as she did these two specific words together. She didn't blame people after all they were clueless of what was between them. Maybe he was too.

She still remembered the day they met. He was the one who forwarded his hand for a friendship. It had been 7 years since then. Jennie was sure as hell, if she were in his place she would never do the same. She had bleached her hair for the nth time, resulting in her hair to look fried. Coincidentally, he too had bad hair , not fried but a terrible haircut, buzz cut to be specific. She never thought that this buzz cut haired boy with a sheepish smile would be the same man with an undercut and a charming smile.

Jennie never felt anything this strong for anyone, not even for her long list of exes and rebounds, as she did for the beautiful boy she saw growing up to be a handsome man.

He probably had no idea what effect he had on her. She wished he did because whenever his calloused finger brushed against her own, it gave her goosebumps and a burning core. it felt better than an orgasm to her.His honey dripping voice calling her name made her insides feel like they were on fire. It felt as if it was just two of them and everything around them stopped. Only him and her, that's what mattered. His million dollar smile that he flashed whenever she did something stupid, helped her feel a little less stupid. Jennie could go on about the effects he had on her simply doing nothing.

He was there with her every time she did extremely idiotic or stupid. Pulling her hair back whenever she vomited on her tub for drinking too much wine, placing small kisses on her face. Even though she wasn't the only one drunk. Funny how he was with her during those terrible times too. When she broke up with her ex, she had a horrible cope up mechanism. She started to sleep with random boys at  clubs to get over that jerk. He was always by her side, reassuring her that she wasn't a bitch or whore what people call her. It's just a phase, it'll go away. She never noticed how perfect he was until then, she thought it was due to her break up she was feeling this way and it'll fade away. She was so wrong.

He always saw through her, he saw the real her. He didn't need a minute to know if she was lying or not. According to him, she was a poem that he memorised too well. She had no argument to oppose this.

He was everything she wanted, she wondered how could she not realize it earlier. However, now that she realised she wasn't going to let him go, not without taking a chance.

She didn't want to be his best friend anymore. She was tired. She was done with this silent pining, she had to take a step forward to something more than friendship. She was going to risk it all, she didn't want to have any regrets. Even if it didn't work out, at least she tried. And tonight she was going for it.

Jongin loved red, especially on her. So, Jennie had no problems answering the saleslady what colour  dress she wanted. Red. The kind lady showed her a variety of dresses. They didn't have what she was looking for. Something elegant and classy yet sexy and bold, and simple too. Well, that was a tough combination to find. She was getting bored seeing so many dresses when another sales lady came holding her perfect dress. A red satin long slip dress with a slit that reached a little higher than she preferred. But it was perfect. Ticked all her boxes. She had to buy it.

She didn't know why but she wanted to buy a dress that would make him lose all his self control and tear the dress off her. And this was that dress.

She didn't like to brag, but the dress really looked like it was made for her and her only. She was looking gorgeous to say the least. Her hair tied in a low bun, as many of the male had complimented her about her neck and shoulder. They said it looked like it begged to be marked. And lord, how badly she wanted to be marked as his. She had put on a light makeup, highlighted cheeks and glossy lips completing the look; She didn't put on any blush because his mere compliment was enough to make them match her dress. She was ready. All she had to do now was wait for him.

Jongin, like every week-end knocked on her door and waited for her to open the door. He definitely wasn't expecting Jennie to be looking like this. She was beautiful, undoubtedly, but in that moment she looked like a goddess in that dress. That was an understatement. When he looked at her feline eyes, he saw something new, maybe he didn't notice earlier. But it was clear he wasn't the only one silently pining. It was now or never, without thinking much Jennie slammed her lips onto his. She wasn't shocked when he kissed back, revealing all the emotions and feelings that were hidden. Her hands shamelessly ran her hands all over him, she had enough holding back. She was shaking with anticipation for what to come next.

When their kisses were getting hungrier, Jongin was still hesitant to move to the next step. And Jennie breathlessly assured him, "Only bought this dress for you to take it off" .
