Y/N POV
Last night, I asked Hyunjin to give me tutoring for the next Statistic midterm exam. He agreed to teach me today after school. Although I'm happy that means I could spend more time together with him at the library, I know he will be teasing me a lot saying I'm dumb. Well, he is not wrong tho... cuz I'm literally the dumbest person who will ever meet when it comes to the statistic.
After we finished packing our bag, we walked to the library building which is a 2-minute walk distance.
We spent two hours studying statistics and we decided to take a break for a bit. We stood up from our seats and went up to the Rest Lounge inside the library, but on the 2nd floor. I am sometimes still amazed at how equipped our library is. It's two floors high, on the first floor there's a quiet study room, a group discussion room, and an auditory room. Meanwhile, on the 2nd floor, there are seats and tables like in a cozy cafe. However, it's all self-serve. The warm drinks and snacks offered through vending machines.
I bought a glass of warm chocolate while Hyunjin bought warm milk tea,
"Why did you buy milk tea? You usually buy Americano," I asked Hyunjin.
"Umm, I don't know.. I feel nervous that I need something warm and sweet,"
Nervous? For what?
I didn't ask more, because I think that he is probably just nervous about the exams that will come soon.
We stood near the big window while enjoying our drinks. The sky outside is already dark although it's still 5 P.M., the street and building's light give light on the bald tree branches that its leaves have already fallen from weeks ago. Winter seems already arrived in our town. Suddenly, rain is falling.
"Wait it's raining?" I asked Hyunjin,
"No way, it's too thick for a rain. Look! It's snowing!?" Hyunjin replied as he tried to make his face closer to the window,
"Eh really?" I followed him and squint my eyes to see the dark outside,
"Whoa! You're right! So first snow of the year huh?" I excitedly looking at the snow that falling like fragile styrofoam.
"Since it's the first snow.. well, I think this is the time.." Hyunjin said, but weirdly I noticed he talks as if there are more words he wanted to say.
"time for what?" I turned my head from the window to face him,
"Y/n, give me your hand," he transferred his milk tea to his left hand, while his right hand's palm faced up waiting for my hand to be put on top.
I instantly can feel my stomach dropped, then it feels like the freaking butterfly flying in it.
"W...w...why?"
"Just give your hand, I need it for experiment purposes."
