Hyunjin POV
I heard Seungmin offers y/n and her friends to sit with us. I thought they will decline, but instead they accepted it and now they're sitting with us.
I don't know, but when y/n took the seat in front of me my stomach feels weird.
Fuck, what's wrong with me? Why am I being like this? Keep your cool Hyunjin, act like normally.

Y/n looks so happy and excited when she smell the chocolate cake, "Ahhhh it's smells so good! I can't wait to eat it later," she talked to herself. She looked so adorable and innocent that I didn't even realize smiling like a fool.
"Why are you smiling like that?" She asked,
"Ehm, no I'm not" I quickly cover my mouth and avoiding her gaze,
"Yes you are!" She leaned in closer, which makes me flinching.
"Ok, I smiled because it's funny you looked like a 5 years old kid," I tried to make a sour expression,
"Geez, just let me enjoy the moment for once okay?," she rolled her eyes.
We all started eating, while we eat Jisung and Eunbi are excitedly talking to each other.
"Jisung, since when you get closer to Eunbi? I thought you didn't know each other?" Felix observed,
Well, what Felix said it's true. I can see Jisung and Eunbi's relationship is growing closer. They're so comfortable with each other and they seem to have an interest on each other, I guess.
"Well, I've heard & saw her before, but never talk to her. Until last weekend we accidentally meet each other at the cafe she works in" Jisung explained,
"Whoa, that's interesting.. tell us the full story!" Felix exclaimed,
Eunbi started to tell what happened on Saturday.
When we're listening to Eunbi's story, suddenly someone walked pass y/n side and accidentally knocked y/n's cake that's placed at almost the end of the table with his hand. It caused the cake to fall to the floor. We all looked to the sound of cake's plate fall.
Y/n's smile disappeared right away. The boy who knocked it say a short sorry and then walked away, y/n just give in and say 'it's okay'.
Seeing the scene makes me mad, why would she just give in like that? Also, He didn't even make an effort to clean or bring the new cake, wtf?
I stand up from my seat and grabbed his blazer,"Hey, watch out when you walk! Do you have eyes?" I snapped,
Instead of backing down and apologize properly, he tried to provoke me back. "Who are you? She isn't complaining, why are you being fussy? Mind your own business," he rudely pushed me,
"Who am I!? If you know me, you sure will regret it" I clench my arm and lifted it up,
I need to teach this stupid boy a lesson.
However, y/n grabbed my arm, "Hyunjin, stop it, it's just an accident... it's okay, I'm fine" she looked into my eyes. Just for y/n's sake, I backed down.
The boy gives a middle finger to me and walk away. If it's not because of y/n, probably I already smashed his face.
Y/n then squatted down to clean the mess on the floor, I quietly help her. I looked at her face, I wonder why she never defends or speak up when she's treated unfairly?
"Hyunjin, thank you for helping me," she said quietly, I looked at her figure, she's too nice and innocent. She needs to be protected or she will get hurts by those people.
She then walked up to throw the remains in the trash and I sat back to my seat.
Y/n finished her remaining spaghetti glumly. I wanted to cheer her up, but I don't know what to do. Then I saw Seungmin put his cake on her tray.
"You can eat mine," he said, "Really? But how about you?" Y/n hesitates, "No, it's okay. I'm already full," Seungmin smiled, Y/n face glowed up, "woah, really? thank you so much Seungmin! you're so nice" "Hahah, eat well y/n" he replied as he patted her head.
Seeing that makes me feel... I don't know... defeated maybe? I feel like I'm losing to him and regret that I didn't do it earlier.
Why am I feeling like this? Seungmin is my best friend, it's not right to be jealous to your own friend, right?
