Temari was in her apartment she was sad that she had to spend Christmas in Konoha.She had always loved when her brothers stopped what they were working on just to spend time with each oth but this would usually happened on the holidays but this Christmas was different there was an emergency document she had to deliver to the hokage. She sat on a chair near the window in her bedroom she look at the snow she really doesn't see snow since she lives in suna it never cold enough for snow but she's glad about that she really hates the cold Gaara would usually never give her a trip to Konoha when it's winter time so she can avoid the weather.
She was looking at the window when she decided to read a book she lay on her bed and stared reading a few pages a little while later she heard a knock on the door she when to open it but to her surprise it was her long time crush shikamaru
"Hey troublesome women"
"Hey crybaby what are you doing here?"
"Well.. I just wanted to ask you if you want to come over to my house spend time with my family since you aren't spending Christmas with your brother why not spend it with us"
"Are you sure I don't want get in the way of your family plans"
"Come on it will be fun plus you won't ruin anything and I know for sure you don't want to spend Christmas alone"
"Fine I'll go come inside let me just get ready alright"
"Sure "
Once temari got dressed up they started to head to the Nara mansion
"Mom I'm back!"
"That's great honey come over here in the kitc....OMG Shikaku come over here now you son invited his girlfriend!!"
Temari and shikamaru blushed then shikamaneu spoke up
" mom she is not my girlfriend she is my friend"
"Sure about that"
"Yes mom"
" well what's your name young lady"
"I'm Temari"
"Well temari you have a pretty name"
" thank you"
"You welcome give me a minute SHIKAKU COME DOWN HERE AND GREET OUT GUEST"
" I'll be there in a sec"
They they heard some footsteps coming from the stair way
" well hel..." his words were cut out when he look up and saw Temari " aren't you the girl who saved shikamaru ass when you guys were younger"
"Dad don't remind her that"
"Yes that is me"
" well it's nice to see you again"
"Yes it is"
"Well come over to the kitchen and let's began to eat" yoshino stated
They sat down and started to eat they chatted about some stuff in all temari had fun it made her think how her life would be if her mother was still alive once they finished Temari helped clean the dishes with yoshino as for shikamaru he and his dad decided to play shoji
