Shikamaru was in his way to visit his father grave which he hasn't visit for a very long time he didn't visit him because he knew he would cry and that what his father would like but today he had the courage to go to the cemetery
As he was walking his way there he decided to stop at his sensei grave and talk to him about how his daughter and wife is doing and he also went by to talk to neji to tell him about Hinata and how naruto is treating her right
And at once he made it to his father grave he put a flower on the grave and sat down beside it and started to talk
" hey dad I'm sorry I haven't visited you I know you are probably disappointed in me that I just was a coward and I'm sorry. You may be wanting to know how mom is and well she is great you know the day she found out you died she was so sad and cry for about a month or two but she has gotten better since then.
Dad you know I always said I would never get married to a troublesome girl well i didn't keep my word I feel right into you footsteps and I fell in love with the most troublesome girl I know you met her before she the girl that lives in suna and that saved my ass every time I am about to lose in a fight her name is temari . You would always say that once you see that smile that you can never find any where else that she the one, back then when I was younger I didn't know what you meant but now I do. I don't know what it is about her that makes my eyes sparkle maybe it her eyes maybe it the way she makes my a better person but one thing I know for sure it is her smile.
You should have seen moms face when I told her I was dating someone she was so shock it look like she had seen a ghost in that moment she wanted to know everything about temari and wanted me to invite her to dinner that night but I had to explain to her that she couldn't come that day because she lived in suna when the day temari came to visit I invited her to dinner at our house and mom like her so much after temari left the house mom was telling how she the one and how I can't let her go. After a few visit of temari mom asked her to stay in our house instead of the hotel she had to be in and she agreed. Mom treats temari as her own daughter I'm just so happy she like her I know very well you would like her too. One day mom told me how disappointed she will be with me if I don married her and well I didn't disappoint her
After a 3 years of dating I asked her to marry me she agreed but we had to go through a lot of struggles due to us living in different villages but after all of that we had our wedding it was simple just how we like it, now temari is part of the Naras mom is so proud
A few weeks ago I found out we will be having I little one on our way it's due in September. Mom is so excited to be having a grand baby running around the house I just wish you were here to see all of that to happen. Dad I wish you were still here I miss you very much so does mom. Temari always been wanting to meet you I guess it be she had never had who took care of her when she was growing up and want to know what it would have been like. Dad I happy with how my life it turning out and I just hope that you were here to see all of that happen I hope that I made you proud and I hope one day I see you again well dad I got to go now I will visit you soon I promise and keep a eye on us please bye dad" he prayed then he left and when to go see his wife who was in the kitchen waiting to serve the food for them too eat
Somewhere in the after life
"Shikamaru I am really proud of you I hope to see you again sometime" Shikaku said as a tear fell down on his left cheek knowing how his son doing
