"Ok fine well.. the real reason is .. because she like the only family we have! Our parents died when we were young we had no one! Temari was the one who raised us and well it has always been us three. She made sure Gaara was alright after what happened with him and naruto years ago. And I'm guessing when you guys get married you will have her live in Konoha and it would be like someone being torn apart from our family we won get to see each other every day, bug each other and well I just don't want temari leaving us" Kankuro said the last part softly
" I get it you only have Gaara and temari with you but don't you think that you want to increase your family I want you to be the uncle to my kids have you ever thought of that. Also I promise you that we will come visit you time to time. Temari will even force me to come with her to suna just so she can she her siblings she loves you all so much so please give me your blessings I want to make her happy and I promise I won't hurt her and if I do I will make sure I suffer in the worst way ever but please let me marry her"Shikamaru said
"You can marry temari" a deep voice came from the hallway

"Kankuro don't you realized how long shikamaru has been waiting to marry temari he waited 5 years I bet if you weren't so stubborn he would have married her 3 years into their relationship. He a smart guy Kankuro he know he shouldn't hurt temari. Look at temari she so happy to be with him. Don't you think it's time to let temari start her own life instead of her taking care of us plus don't you want to be an uncle and have a niece/ nephew to have running around here when they visit us I know it going to be a big change with temari not living with us but I think it is time to make her happy so no matter what your answer is shikamaru has permission to marry her" Gaara said calmly
"Fine you came marry Temari but if I find out you tried something dirty on her you will have a good punch form me alright"Kankuro said threatening as he glared at shikamaru as shikamaru just stayed there quietly
" Kankuro quit be such a dumbass of course they are going to have to do the dirty if they want to have kids didn't you learn this already" Gaara said this statement caused shikamaru turn red
Kankuro crossed his arms and said nothing
"Well sorry but I have to go I promised Temari that I'll take her out to eat, Gaara thank you for your blessing well I got to go now bye" shikamaru said as he left he was so happy he is going to marry the girl of his dreams

"Whatever" Kankuro said as he rolled his eyes " Gaara does this mean he is going to our brother in law"

"Does this mean we have to treat him as a brother"Kankuro said him a smirk
"Yes but before I will say that you won't be playing any tricks on him or think about bugging him or else"
"Damn it" Kankuro said as he went to his room
