💙 Val's POV💙

we stood there, holding each other. they were warm, and they smelled like (f/s) [favorite smell]. from that point forward I knew I had to protect them. sure I've only known them for a few days but I can't help being so drawn to them. I'd even go so far to say I'm in love with them.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard tiny sobs coming from them.
"a-are you alright doll?"
I said obviously concerned.

"yeah.. just no ones ever cared about me this much... thank you.." they said holding back their crying.

"its not a big deal, I care about you ya know?" that whole time my voice was softer and more caring than I intended. its fine tho, because I truly did care about them.

"Val?"
"yeah?"
"what were u going to ask me earlier?"
"oh uh.. I don't think now is the time."
"ok."

I felt eyes on me. I saw Leah and Tallulah staring at me with a bit of hate. I'm pretty used to it tho so idc. (y/n) stopped crying but kept hugging me -of course I'm not complaining-

they acted so comfortable in my arms, more comfortable than they've ever seen them. I'm honestly surprised, or like jay says ShOoKeTh or whatever.

let go of him and thank him again. he smiles and pats ur head with one hand while the other wipes ur tears.
"ur pretty cool Val. idc what anyone says."
"thanks doll. that means more to me than u think."

the bell rings and u run off to class. but u couldn't focus and neither could Val. it just so happens ur thinking about each other. aaannnddd u didn't five him his jacket back. u don't plan on giving it back either >:o)
