Not Really Staying

Everywhere was silent as I stared outside the window.

  I held my phone tight so as to avoid falling it. I then buried my forehead in my palms, triggering on how to present this news.

   Everybody are so happy that we arrived safely yesterday. Chloe even made a cake with the help of the girls and Max made chocolate bars with a football design on 'em just to celebrate. Alex pulled me aside to ask if I was okay, I told him yes, but inside... Is a bloody no.

  Mr Sunny arrived yesterday  with fury and I got a text that the trip is cancelled and the Merits should come back to Mexico. I'm Dead if I tell the girls this. They'll be so annoyed.

  Alex isn't really responding lately. He acts like he is seeing someone, is that even possible?

It can be.

He's so distance these days and so focused on whatever he's focused on.

  I still don't admit I love him or anything but... I am concerned about him.

  I feel so many emotions run down my veins for him. But does he feel the same?

Alex P.O.V

Everyone is jubilating in the room except for Stacy who is in the girls room.

I Love Her.

She have been acting like I am not relevant or something.

  The Love I have for her is so easy to say but why can't I just say it? Why am I feeling like I'm not better?

  Her smile... Her looks... Her walk! Everything about her is a master piece.

Does she feel all the tension in the air I have for her?

  If I got the chance, I just tell her all these things but I don't, I really don't.

  I mean, I got girls lurking around me but... She's different. So different.

   "Alex? Stacy wanna tell us something" Max voice echoes in my room.

  "How is she looking? Frustrated? Angry..."

Max squinted his eye and raised his eyebrows at me.

"Answer me, Max!"

  He got taken aback by my reaction but instead of answering me... He came into the room, walked up to me and sat beside me.

   "What's wrong?"

O-oh!

"Nothing..."

"Don't lie to me, bro. You've been acting like a loner these days... And so does Stacy. We all noticed, including the girls. What's wrong dude?"

I have never experienced someone noticing how I act and is concerned about me.

  I and Max are pals and tight ones.

"Noth..."
Max smacked my hand before I even said the 'ing'.

   I looked away from him and stared ahead.

'I love her, Max...' I blurted out and looked up at him.

'I really do'

Max stared at him eyes widened.

  "We all feel the same way towards them, Alex..."

  Oh really?

I stared at him and then the door opened and in came the rest of the New Boys.

  'Guys. We need you downstairs' Xavier said panting.

What happened now?

  'Well guess what? I am not going anywhere!!!' Maria yelled at Stacy.

  I have never seen a girl like this before.

'Girls, please calm down'

Maria is panting like she ran for kilometers.

'What happened?'

All heads turned to me including Stacy.

  'Ask her!' Zee added and all eyes on Stacy now.

Stacy's P.O.V

I knew this was a mistake. I knew this is my mistake.

  'What is it?' Alex asked.

His voice is shaky and his eyes are dark.

I shook my head and look up at him.

'The Merits are to go back to Mexico by tomorrow'

'We are not, Stacy!' Chloe yelled.

  I sighed and ran hand through my hair.

   'Why?'

'We have to go'

  Alex stared at his palms.

  'I thought we were through with being friends?'

I don't know if that's a sentence or a question.

  'I thought we were through with being just groups?'

I blinked.

What does he mean?

'I thought... I thought we were heading to the next level' he said and our eyes meet.

  I feel dizzy now and like I want to puke.

Seeing those dark eyes is a nightmare.

  'Why?'

I inhaled deeply and looked down.

  'I will take you to the airport myself. When are you leaving?'

'Tonight'

'Fine'

He said it like I was to be killed by tomorrow.

  As he went upstairs, he cleaned his eyes and banged the door shut!

Everyone left the sitting room immediately and I sighed.

What the shit have I done?
