#Day 5:- A Promise

Stacy P.O.V

'Sir, I can't stay here for twenty three days, I can have a heart attack'

  I and Alex are just allowed into the office of Mr Sunny.

Due to what my mum told me, I want to tell him to cut it to five days, it'd be better. Cause I really wanna see my mum and girls and the guys.

  'I'm sorry Miss Stacy, I cannot shorten the days we need to be here because you have a very important journey' Mr Sunny said.

  'Just five days? Mr Sunny...'

'The least I can say is seven'

Seven??!!!

'Why seven?'

'It's more convenient and fun to have a splendid time with others'

'But...'

'You have no objective than to work with it'

I sigh.

'Ten or seven?'
I look at Alex who stares at Mr Sunny angrily and in a confused state.

'Seven, Sir' I whisper.

'Thank you, Miss Stacy. You're dismissed'

Immediately I and Alex leaves the tent.

  This is so hard for me especially because it is coming from Mr Sunny.
Urgh!

'Are you really okay with that?' Alex asked as we both enter Alex's tent.

'Even if I'm not, I still have to work with it'

Everybody is in their tent.

I led the way into my tent as Alex followed closely.

  'Hey, Alex' turned to face me.

'Have you given the university classes a thought?'

'Oh I have. I sent the notes to your email but, the exams are being taken care of'

'Taken care of?'

'I wrote it for you'

My mouth dropped agape.

Alex P.O.V

'Really?! You did that for me?!' she exclaimed.

'Yeah. I thought you were busy so I...'

She didn't even let me even finish, she pounced on me with a tight hug, tighter than the one my mum gave me before she died.

  'Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!' she yelled and squeezed me the more.

  In surprise, I hugged her back.

'I just gave it a thought yesterday and I wanted to ask you, thank you Alex'

  I smiled. That's what I want to hear.

  'Speaking of that, I got in contact with my Mum and... Well...'

  'What?'

  'She wants me to get married soon...'

Okay... I did not see that coming.

'She have a disease and in the next one month she may be gone...'

'Oh... I-I'm sorry to hear that'

  'She said she wants to see my husband or lover before she goes. Even if she wouldn't be able to touch her grandchild or be there at the wedding' Stacy said.

'I'm sorry to hear that'

She nodded and sighed.

'Hope God has a plan' she whispered.

  'Yeah...'
She looks up at me.

'Yeah, he does'

  I held her hand tight as I squeezed her fingers.

She smiled. I think this is the opportunity.

Stacy P.O.V

He leaned forward slowly which made my body shiver a little.

Don't tell me he wants to do what I'm thinking.

  As he leaned, his eyes diverted to my lips and mine to his.

  My nose ran to the scent of his perfume, which I admire so much...

  'When we go back, are you going to stay here?...'

My eyes slowly departed his lips to his eyes.

  'Do you want me to stay?'
 

  At first, he looked down at his palms and then at me.

'Yes, please stay' he whispered.

'I Will'

  He leaned closer again and this time, he means it.

  But then, we hear the squeek of the loud speaker Me Sunny always use.

'Okay, everyone out. We will be going for forest hunting'

Forest hunting?

The devil can really spoil one's mood and happiness.

  He bit his lower lip still staring into my eyes.

'Let's go' I then beckoned him to follow and he did, saying something under his breath.

Geez... What a day!

Alex P.O.V

  I wonder why Mr Sunny always spoils the moment.
 
  I watched closely at her as we walk through stranded trees.

'By tomorrow, we will switch partners and by that... Everybody' Mr Sunny said.

  Everybody's head switch to Stacy and she audibly gulp.

  What... The... Fuck
