Ch.3- Finding Conner

While we rode to seek shelter Cassie said something that broke my train of thought.

"We should go to my house to see if my parents are home or if we can find supplies."

I agreed to the thought, mostly because I knew she wanted to see her parents after seeing what happened to mine. We rode until we came to her house. She got off the bike and ran to her front step. She opened her door and found her brother Conner, with a pole pointed right at her. "Knock it off Conner", I said with every hint of anger I had in me. "Well how am I supposed to kill the zombies?," he replied sarcastically. That phrase cut me off," What zombies?"

"The ones that started in your school and attacked the whole world."

"No, I saw them die, they were poisoned by some toxic gas."

"We'll have you watched the news lately?"

"No, I've been out roaming."

"Well, they started in your school dummy."

"What?!?!?"

"That's we're the apocalypse started, do you need me to slow it down?"

"No, I'm not retarded like you."

"Guys stop, we have no time to argue and to call names," said Cassie with an angry look on her face."We have to find all this stuff out." So we interrogated him for everything he knew. "The news said that human beings from South Austin have been using aggressive behaviors and biting other people." Relayed Conner. "My opinion is that it is a zombie apocalypse and we should go down to Academy and get guns. I heard that people are moving out faster than a American chasing a cheeseburger." So we set off on a adventure to get some weapons.
