Warning: this story will contain subjects and themes that are generally disturbing. This includes:
• Sexually explicit scenes between characters of vast age differences
• Instances of physical violence
• Non-consensual sexual situations
• Brief mentions of death
• Light substance abuseSomething that must be noted before continuing is the fact that I do not, and never will condone nor romanticize the actions that take place within both this novel, and Vladimir Novokov's 1955 novel 'Lolita'. I also think it's extremely important to note that while there are romantic themes, this is not a love story; it is about the life of a young girl who was, sadly, manipulated by two different men—all masked by a false sense of love.
Important reminder that this story is based solely on Vladimir Nabokov's 1955 novel entitled 'Lolita' (which I have read three times over, and extensively studied while writing this.) With that being said, I would like like absolutely no affiliation whatsoever with either the 1962 or 1997 film. In fact, (and this is just an opinion) I personally don't like the way they handled the subject matter.
Beyond that, I hope you all enjoy. I cannot wait to hear your thoughts, critiques, and opinions down in the comments.❤️
(All of the writing done within this story is my own personal work, and is not permitted to be altered or replicated in any other form. Thank you!)
